Johnny Sparks Fundraiser

In November of 2024, Johnny Sparks was diagnosed with lung cancer. He courageously fought a very rare type of lung cancer along with metastatic cancer in his bones and liver until March 31, 2026. Johnny has left behind his wife and four beautiful children. While grieving they are faced with the financial aftermath of 15 months of countless doctors visits and cancer treatments.

Together his family and friends are hosting a benefit on May 2, 2026 at Highland High School to help raise funds for his medical expenses. Doors open at 4pm with a pulled pork meal being served at 4:30pm and a live auction starting at 6pm. Any questions regarding the benefit can be answered in the “Johnny Sparks Cancer Benefit” Facebook group.

Team Up for Taylor Fundraiser

In December of 2022, Taylor Schaffer was in a terrible car accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury and the loss of her sweet baby, Emory. Since then, Taylor and her family have faced many obstacles medically and otherwise. Taylor has a severe TBI, hydrocephalus, a seizure disorder, an acquired brain injury, and several other diagnosis.

Taylor’s family and friends are hosting a golf tournament on May 4, 2026 in Eugene, Missouri in hopes to raise funds for a new handicap accessible van and other medical supplies. Follow Taylor’s story on Facebook at
